NY Mets Thoughts - 7/6 Game vs Reds - Johan Santanna was Dominant and hit his 1st homer

Great Met win last night with Johan dominating and helping himself out in the run support category with his 1st ever home run which was a great at bat as he fought off a few pitches. It looks like Johan is ultra confident again which bodes well as Omar looks for an additional starter by the trade deadline. Look for an amazing pitching performance (we hope) from Jon Niese tonight. Beltran and Castillo will both be back soon too!

NY Mets Thoughts - 7/5 Game vs Reds "No Nieve! No Pinch Hit for Tejada?"

Mets played a great game last night even with Pelfrey losing his cool & stuff in the 5th. Bad call by relying on Scott Rolen's complaints & 2nd base ump who was just a bit outside.. from the play. Fernando Nieve isn't reliable and I think he was way overused this year. Takahashi needs to get back in the pen pronto and Omar needs to get Cliff Lee or another Top Starting Pitcher now!

Also please be more careful when pitching to the other robbed all star, Joey Votto tonight ...please Johan - nothing over the middle of the plate!
